Welcome to Western Port

THE JEWEL OF THE MORNINGTON PENINSULA

Less than one hour from Melbourne’s CBD, Western Port is considered the quieter side of Victoria’s sparkling Mornington Peninsula.

Named in 1798 when it was thought to be the most Westerly Port of the Colony of New South Wales before Australian Federation, Western Port has a multitude of attractions scattered amongst it’s gentle hills. Stretching from Pearcedale to Cape Schanck, this area truly offers something for all.

Whether you want to bushwalk, see native wildlife, surf, explore family activities, search for a function venue or simply relax, the answer is here. Please visit our Visitor Information Centre on Hastings Jetty, where our team of knowledgeable volunteers await the opportunity to inform your choice.
